Minocqua Area Fishing Report

Following a 10” snow dump and some very cold (for April) temps of high single digits to low teens, Ice fishing for all extents and purposes is over except for the south end of Big Arbor Vitae where safe ice remains.

Crappies, some Gills and Perch are being caught.

Pond behind the shop opened to about 80% last week, then refroze. Will likely reopen over weekend.

With latest news of stay at home order for Wisconsin being extended, not sure how, or if, opener will occur.
